Hollow Knight: Silksong has been crowned Game of the Year by the Steam community.
Valve has officially revealed the outcomes of The Steam Awards 2025, where Steam users voted for their favorite titles across a wide range of categories. In total, 43.8 million votes were cast by players worldwide. Below is how the top honors were awarded.
Game of the Year went to Hollow Knight:Silksong.
VR Game of the Year was awarded to The Midnight Walk.
The Labor of Love award was claimed by Baldur’s Gate 3.
Best Game on Steam Deck was won by Hades II.
The Better With Friends category was taken by Peak.
Outstanding Visual Style was awarded to Silent Hill f.
Most Innovative Gameplay went to ARC Raiders.
Best Game You’re Bad At was once again Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Best Soundtrack was claimed by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
Outstanding Story-Rich Game was awarded to Dispatch.
